Blog Summary:
Sabi Writers has announced the launch the Young Talent Accelerator Programme (YTAP), a 6-week summer internship designed to nurture teens and the next generation of creative professionals by providing them with practical industry exposure, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences.

The program is targeted at teenagers between the ages of 15 and 20 who have a passion for writing, storytelling, creative design, and video editing. Through a carefully structured learning environment, participants will have the opportunity to develop their talents, explore their creative potential, and gain valuable insights into the professional world.
Recognising the importance of early exposure to workplace culture and industry practices, the Young Talent Accelerator Programme (YTAP) goes beyond traditional skill development. Participants will engage in practical training activities that introduce them to various aspects of the creative industry, including writing, publishing, storytelling, content creation, and communication.
According to Sabi Writers, the initiative was developed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by giving teenagers access to experiences that prepare them for future professional and entrepreneurial pursuits.
“Young people possess immense creative potential, but many lack access to the guidance, structure, and opportunities needed to develop their abilities. The Young Talent Accelerator Programme (YTAP) was created to provide a platform where teenagers can learn from industry professionals, gain real-world experience, and begin building the confidence and competencies required for success in the future.”
The YTAP this 2026 will cover four key areas, namely:
1. Professional Writing
2. Literary Editing
3. Creative Design
4. Video Editing
Throughout the programme, participants will benefit from mentorship, collaborative learning, project-based experiences, and exposure to professional standards within a creative work environment. In addition to strengthening their creative abilities, the program aims to cultivate critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, communication skills, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
The Young Talent Accelerator Programme (YTAP) reflects Sabi Writers ongoing commitment to talent development, youth empowerment, and the creation of pathways that enable young people to transform their passions into meaningful opportunities and long-term careers.
Application for the programme is currently open but closes on Friday, July 17th, 2026.
